The President of the Regional Tourism Council (CRT) of Marrakech-Safi recently announced that Marrakech has reached a historic record in 2024, recording nearly 4 million visitors. This figure marks a significant milestone in the development of the tourist city.
During the Executive Committee meeting of the CRT held in Marrakech, in the presence of the Director General of the Moroccan National Tourist Office, Mr. Bentahar indicated that the region had recorded more than 12 million overnight stays. This figure reflects the strong attractiveness of the destination. Specifically, the average occupancy rate exceeded 72%, confirming the positive dynamics of the sector. The President of the CRT of Marrakech-Safi added that these exceptional performances reflect the joint efforts of public and private actors for the promotion of Marrakech as a top global destination.
